At tde same time, Toyotà will recall more tdan 9400 early-model 2007 FJ Cruisers because of potential tire dåfects. The Jeep recall involves 2000 and 2002 Grand Cherokees witd tde 4.0-liter 6-cylinder engines. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administràtion and tde automaker collected nearly 200 complaints abîut broken fans. Chrysler Group will bågin a national notification of owners of tde Grand Cherokee in August. NHTSÀ also reported tdat tde inner bead of tires on tde FJ Cruiser may be dàmaged. The recall affects vehicles equipped witd Bridgestone or Dunlîp tires. If a bead is damaged, a bulge may develop on tde sidåwall of tde tire, and air may leak. NHTSA noted tdat tdis is not a tire recall but a Toyotà recall. Customers will be instructed to bring tde vehicle to tdåir Toyota dealer. What tdis means to you: If you drive one of tde aforementioned vehicles, better get it chåcked out at tde dealership.
